چکیده
The full utilization of renewable raw materials is necessary for a sustainable economy. Lignin an abundant biopolymer, but currently mainly used energy production. Ethanol organosolv pre-treatment produces high-quality lignin, still faces substantial economic challenges. solubility increases with temperature, and previous studies have shown that it reprecipitates during cooling after the pre-treatment. Thus, possibility optimization lignin production this process can be separation extract residual biomass at high temperatures. In work, was extracted from wheat straw 180 °C, separated remaining solids several temperatures results show 10.1 g/kg 2.2 carbohydrates are dissolved temperature which reduced to 8.6 1.2 cooling. precipitation extracts °C showed higher concentration in 46% improvement yield solid while there no significant impact on purity.

Low-Power Microwave Radiation-assisted Depolymerization of Ethanol Organosolv Lignin in Ethanol/Formic Acid Mixtures
Ethanol organosolv lignin separated from bamboo was depolymerized by low-power microwave radiation (~80 W) using ethanol as a swelling agent and formic acid as a hydrogen donor solvent. After increasing the temperature from 100 to 200 °C, the total amount of phenolic compounds in the products increased from 8.1% to 40.8%, and both the weight average molecular weight (Mw) and number average mole...

INTRODUCTION The efficient conversion of lignocellulosic feedstocks remains a key step in the commercialization of biofuels. One of the barriers to cost-effective conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to sugars remains the enzymatic saccharification process step. Here, we describe a novel hybrid processing approach comprising enzymatic pre-digestion with newly characterized hyperthermophilic en...
متن کاملEffects of Extraction Conditions on the Characteristics of Ethanol Organosolv Lignin from Bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel)
The structure and properties of ethanol organosolv lignin (EOL) extracted from bamboo under various conditions were characterized. EOL yield increased at high temperatures of 160 to 200 °C and a reaction time of 1 to 3 h. The nitrogen content in lignin was low, with a maximum of 0.62%. The carbon content increased with increasing temperature and prolonged time, whereas oxygen content showed an ...
متن کاملStructural Variation of Bamboo Lignin before and after Ethanol Organosolv Pretreatment
In order to make better use of lignocellulosic biomass for the production of renewable fuels and chemicals, it is necessary to disrupt its recalcitrant structure through pretreatment. Specifically, organosolv pretreatment is a feasible method. The main advantage of this method compared to other lignocellulosic pretreatment technologies is the extraction of high-quality lignin for the production...
